Peer Review Process

Quality Enhancement in Higher Education Journal applies a rigorous, objective, and transparent peer review process to ensure the scholarly quality of all published articles. The journal adopts a double-blind peer review system, in which both authors’ and reviewers’ identities are concealed throughout the review process.

Each submitted manuscript undergoes the following stages:

  1. Initial editorial screening
The editor evaluates the manuscript for its relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, originality, academic quality, and compliance with author guidelines and publication ethics.

  2. Reviewer assignment
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise.

  3. Peer review process
Reviewers assess the manuscript based on originality, scholarly contribution, methodological rigor, analytical depth, clarity of presentation, and international relevance.

  4. Editorial decision
Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editor decides whether the manuscript is accepted, accepted with minor revisions, requires major revisions, or is rejected.

  5. Revision and final verification
Authors are required to address all reviewers’ comments. The editor verifies the revisions before making the final decision.

All review processes adhere to the principles of academic integrity, impartiality, avoidance of conflicts of interest, and international publication ethics standards.
